A green deal: Momentum Energy and Tennis Victoria Strike new partnership
Innovative electricity retailer Momentum Energy was today announced as the Official Energy Partner of Tennis Victoria in a partnership that delivers a wide variety of club and household member benefits.
Momentum Energy CEO Camillo D'Alessandro and Ian Clark, CEO of Tennis Victoria, signed the agreement at Tennis Victoria's Melbourne base at Olympic Boulevard.
Commenting on the partnership Mr D'Alessandro said that Momentum Energy had been searching for an arrangement that would deliver tangible community benefits that matched Momentum's business strategies and that Tennis Victoria was a natural fit.
"From the outset Tennis Victoria appealed to Momentum Energy because it is almost unique in its broad community reach and organisational strengths. Tennis Victoria embraces every age group, attracts families and singles and is represented in just about every suburb and country region," Mr D'Alessandro said.
"Our relationship with Momentum Energy represents a true partnership where both organisations benefit from working together. Tennis Victoria will work closely with Momentum Energy to grow the brand's profile and capture business opportunities," said Tennis Victoria's CEO, Ian Clark.

A key component in the partnership will be Momentum's sponsorship of Tennis Victoria's Club Open Days. Over the next twelve months Momentum will be actively engaged in adding extra support to the Open Day activities and thereby encouraging greater participation that will assist club membership drives.
The partnership includes making available to club member households and clubs valuable savings on their electricity account, and a great value sports pack for members, that will enable new or existing club members to treat themselves to some smart new gear, at a cost significantly underwritten by Momentum Energy.

The sponsorship reinforces the value positioning and has the added bonus of allowing Momentum to promote its green electricity in a sports environment that is clearly sensitive to environmental issues."
