
Understanding your bill
Momentum Energy will forward you a bill once a month, unless otherwise agreed.
What the Bill Contains
Each bill will show the amount of electricity you have consumed including network charges, metering cost, service to property charges and any applicable taxes such as GST.
If you have chosen a Momentum Green Energy plan, it will contain one of the following 'tick' labels, showing that you have purchased an accredited GreenPower product. This accreditation label is supported and managed by governments throughout Australia.

These labels tell you the amount of accredited GreenPower that Momentum Energy has purchasing on your behalf, as a percentage (10% – 100%) of your household’s electricity consumption. 50% means that your energy supplier purchases renewable energy from accredited GreenPower sources to the amount equal to 50% of your household’s electricity consumption.
Paying Your Bill
Momentum Energy requires you to pay your bill by its pay-by-date. Unless otherwise agreed, this will be at least 12 business days from the date the bill was sent out by us.
Your bill contains information on the various payment options available and where you can pay your account. These will change and update over time as we strive to implement more convenient methods for you to pay your bills.
